Field and operations software for public programmes that can’t go down.
Built for the peak day, the weak network and the seasonal staff member who got the app this morning — offline-first field apps, live dashboards and bilingual services.
How this business actually runs.
Public-sector software is judged on its worst day. The launch demo doesn’t matter if the app fails when the whole programme is in the field at once, on an overloaded network, run by people who were trained that morning.
Taskeen is the field tool Hajj ground staff used to verify pilgrims, scan wristbands at transfer points and keep live counts on buses and tents — more than 100,000 pilgrims tracked. Every scan is written on the phone first and reconciled in the background, so nothing is lost when the network drops, and a first-time volunteer scans correctly in under a minute.
We work as the technical partner alongside the operator or the prime contractor, and help with the technical side of tenders in Arabic and English.
The systems this business needs.
Offline-first field apps
Everything is saved on the device first and synced when the network allows — no lost records on the day it matters most.
Scanning & verification
Barcode and QR scanning tuned for real conditions — bright sun, gloves, moving targets — with checks that run without a server round-trip.
Live operations dashboards
Counts, locations and exceptions per site, team and phase, updating in near real time for the people coordinating on the ground.
Onboarding for seasonal staff
Interfaces a first-time user gets right in a minute, because there’s no time to train thousands of people properly.
Bilingual public-facing services
Citizen and visitor apps and sites in Arabic and English, built to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility.
Tender & RFP technical support
Technical sections, architecture and delivery plans for tenders, in Arabic and English, alongside the operator or prime contractor.
What’s different in Egypt and the Gulf.
- Arabic first, in a formal register, with English where international staff or visitors need it.
- Data residency: hosting in-country or in a regional cloud when the programme requires it.
- Peak-load planning — the system is designed for the busiest hour of the season, not the average day.
- Runbooks and on-call cover for the critical window, not only a handover document.

What gets asked before signing.
- Can you work as a subcontractor or technical partner?
- Yes. We can deliver as the technical partner to an operator or a prime contractor, and support the technical sections of their tender response.
- Do the apps work without a network?
- Yes, where the job needs it. Taskeen writes every scan on the device first and reconciles in the background, so counts stay correct through dropped connections.
- Can the data stay in the country?
- Yes. We design for data residency when the programme requires it — hosting in-country or in a regional cloud, with the environment in the client’s own account.
- How do you handle the busiest day?
- By designing for it from the start: load tested against the peak, offline where possible, runbooks written before the window opens, and engineers on call through it.
